Power & Charging

Motorcycle SAE USB-C PD & QC 3.0 Charger

Compare switched SAE motorcycle chargers with USB-C PD, USB-A Quick Charge, and a built-in voltage display.

The straight answer

These compact chargers combine a USB-C Power Delivery port, a USB-A Quick Charge port, an on/off switch, and a voltage display in a handlebar- or panel-mounted module. They can connect through an existing SAE lead or an included fused battery harness. Seller wattage claims are maximum protocol-specific outputs, not a promise that every phone, cable, or two-device combination will receive that power.

Safety & use notes

Confirm SAE polarity with a meter before connecting—the exposed positive pin is not standardized across every battery-tender lead. Put the fuse close to the battery and size it for the supplied wire and manufacturer instructions. Route wiring clear of the steering stops, fork, fairing, tank, heat, and moving parts, then check full steering lock. Switch the charger off when parked to avoid parasitic draw. A weather cap protects unused ports only when fully closed; a connected cable is not a waterproof installation. Treat the displayed voltage as a convenient trend indicator, not a battery or charging-system diagnosis.

Fitment

Universal 12V–24V motorcycles with a compatible SAE lead or fused battery connectionAll yearsFor a 2010 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide, verify handlebar or fairing clearance at full lock and keep the unit clear of gauges, ignition, controls, windshield hardware, and tank. Confirm SAE polarity before using an existing battery-tender pigtail.
